Aahuti Sejpal

Aahuti exploring Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina

This probably sounds cliche but if someone asked me one thing I will regret on my deathbed, my answer would be not having seen the world.

I caught the travel bug early on in my life. Blessed with parents who wanted to show their children the world from a very young age, I took my first international trip with them when I was 6.

My first solo adventure was when I was 17, to an offbeat place in the Himalayas. I gained my confidence to travel alone then and I haven't stopped ever since.

The more I travel, the more confident, happy and liberated I feel. It is an addiction.

Lately, I have realized traveling is not just about the place but so much more about the people. I recently went on a 3-month solo trip across the Balkans. This was my longest and the most spontaneous solo trip yet. It broadened my perspective on life and made me feel more grateful for everything that I have.

Travel is therapeutic and rejuvenating. It helps me bring my focus back and motivates me to follow my dreams. The more I travel, the more I don’t want to stop traveling!

My goal is to inspire others with my journey as a vegetarian traveler.
